Obscured - The Modern Horror TTRPG

I've finally got some exciting news to share! Remember that modern-day horror TTRPG I've been working on? Me neither, but it's finally ready for you to sink your teeth into!

Obscured was originally meant to be a physical book or PDF that I could sell and make a living off of, something more in line with traditional tabletop games. But then life happened, priorities shifted, and I realized that what I wanted more than anything was for people to actually play and enjoy this thing I made. So, I decided to set Obscured free—free as in "won't cost you a dime," and let the world enjoy it!

Now, you can dive into the world of Obscured without worrying about your wallet. All you need is a device, an internet connection, and a bit of imagination (and maybe a few friends who don't mind a little existential dread now and then).

In Obscured, you'll take on the role of a Hunter, one of the brave few who know the secrets of the world and are going out there to make a difference. You'll face off against nightmarish ghosts, ghouls, aliens, and cryptids, forging bonds with your fellow survivors along the way. It's like a typical day at the office but with more dice rolls and fewer spreadsheets... there are still a couple, but it's not as many.

I've put together a solid foundation for your adventures with the rules, archetypes, and lore in this 1.0.0 version, but the real magic happens when you and your friends gather around the table (or the virtual tabletop, because, you know, technology) and breathe some life into it.

Now, I'm not saying Obscured is going to revolutionize the RPG scene or anything. It's not perfect, and there's always room for improvement. But I am pretty proud of what I've created, and I can't wait to see what kind of stories you'll tell and what horrors you'll face.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your dice, call your friends, and jump right in. Share your tales of terror, your triumphs, and your failures with the community. And if you have any suggestions or feedback, don't be shy—we're all in this together, and together we can make Obscured even better.

Happy hunting!
